Sessions which have been booked in advance will still need to be paid for even if your child is absent due to sickness, holiday or other absence.

Every effort has been made to keep session fees as low as possible. Discretionary assistance will be considered where there is genuine hardship. All requests will be considered by the Committee.

Payment Schedule

Fees will be invoiced in advance and fees will be due at the beginning of each Term. Individual payment schedules can be agreed in advance at the discretion of The Treasurer.

Payment Methods

The Pre School’s preferred method of payment is direct into the Pre School bank account details of which are given on the invoice. Your child’s name should be given as a reference. Cheques are acceptable and should be made payable to St Barnabas Pre School. Cash payments are no longer acceptable direct to the Pre School. Cash can be paid direct into the Pre School Bank account through Barclays Bank in Calverley Road, Tunbridge Wells – opposite Top Shop. Your child’s name should be given as a reference.

FREE ENTITLEMENT

Free Entitlement hours are agreed at the beginning of Term 1, 3 and 5. It is not possible to alter these hours until the beginning of Term 2, 4 and 6. However, you may increase your child’s attendance during the term, depending on availability of sessions, and pay the additional hours or sessions as detailed above.

Sessions which have been booked in advance will still need to be paid for even if your child is absent due to sickness, holiday or other absence. Certain situations may be given consideration and need to be discussed with The Manager at the time of absence.

We are able to access funding for Free Early Education for 3 and 4 year olds of up to 15 hours per week with effect from 1 September 2010. At present funding is available for three and four year olds and can be claimed in the term after your child is 3 years old. Please see below.

They are eligible for a free place from:

1 April and 31 August

1 September following their third birthday until statutory school age

1 September and 31 December

1 January following their third birthday until statutory school age

1 January and 31 March

1 April following their third birthday until statutory school age

We can also give advice on tax credits.

Fees must be paid in order for a child to keep his/her place.

Fees will be reviewed on an annual basis in April.
