We’re having a Garden Party to end the year with a bang and to show off the improvements in our outdoor play area. All members of our local community are invited to join staff, committee, families and carers. The party will be at the Barna-Bus from 3-5pm.
Nearly all our 25 children who are going to Big School in September came with parents and carers with us to Hastings last week. The coach dropped us at the Aquarium, then we visited the Fisherman’s Museum (to escape the rain) before having a picnic on the beach, a play at the adventure playground and a quick ice cream before heading back to the coach.

Many thanks to all parents and staff who contributed and helped out on the stalls yesterday. It was great to be part of the St Barnabas school community and we raised £129 for the Barna-Bus Pre School charity.

The week commencing 17th November 2014 is national road safety week. Throughout the week we will be having fun with lots of activities and games based around the theme of road safety. We will also be visiting John the Lollipop man at the Zebra crossing outside St Barnabas school.
We are very pleased to announce that a recent Ofsted inspection has rated the Barna-Bus ‘Good’. This is a great achievement and something we can all take pride in. You are invited to join your child on a Woodland Walk, and if the weather allows, for an Easter Picnic outside, if not in the hall. If your child normally attends on Wednesday mornings we hope you will come too as we will need extra pairs of hands. It is hoped that all children will come on the walk as this one of the learning

The annual Camden Road lantern parade will take place on 8th February (view flyer) and, as usual, the Barna-Bus will be taking part. We’d love you to join us. We will be making one lantern per key group during the week commencing 3rd February.
