Sessions & fees
We are open four days a week. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday – 8.50.am to 2.50pm.
There are two sessions per day – 8.50am to 11.50pm and 11.50pm to 2.50pm. Your child may attend two full sessions per day.
We offer a Lunch Club for one hour at the end of the morning session – 11.50am to 12.50pm. This is at an additional cost to the session fees for those adding on to the morning but not staying for the afternoon session. Children will need to bring a healthy packed lunch if they are to stay all day or if they are attending the afternoon session. We encourage healthy eating within our setting and discourage sweets, chocolate and crisps. We can provide ideas for a Healthy Lunch Box if parents wish.
|Per Session (8.50am to 11.50 or 11.50 to 2.50pm)||£15.00|
|Full Day (8.50am to 2.50pm)||£30.00|
|Additional Hourly Rate||£5.00|

Every effort has been made to keep session fees as low as possible. Discretionary assistance will be considered where there is genuine hardship. All requests will be considered by the Finance Committee.
Fees will be invoiced in advance and fees will be due at the beginning of each Term. Individual payment schedules can be agreed in advance at the discretion of the Finance Committee. Please ensure that all fees are paid in full by the start of each term. If you are late paying your fees we will have to add a £5 administration charge to your next invoice.
The Pre School’s preferred method of payment is direct into the Pre School bank account details of which are given on the invoice. Your child’s name should be given as a reference. Cheques are acceptable and should be made payable to St Barnabas Pre School. Cash payments are no longer acceptable direct to the Pre School. Cash can be paid direct into the Pre School Bank account through Barclays Bank in Calverley Road, Tunbridge Wells – opposite Top Shop. Your child’s name should be given as a reference.
Free Entitlement hours are agreed at the beginning of Term 1, 3 and 5. It is not possible to alter these hours until the beginning of Term 2, 4 and 6. However, you may increase your child’s attendance during the term, depending on availability of sessions, and pay the additional hours or sessions as detailed above.
Sessions booked in advance will still need to be paid for even if your child is absent due to sickness, holiday or other absence. Certain situations may be given consideration and need to be discussed with The Manager at the time of absence.
We are able to access funding for Free Early Education for 3 and 4 year olds of up to 15 hours per week with effect from 1 September 2010. At present funding is available for three and four year olds and can be claimed in the term after your child is 3 years old. Please see below.
